Chris Brown’s alleged attack on girlfriend Rihanna was triggered when he received a three-page text message from his manager, TMZ revealed Tuesday. According to the entertainment website, 40-year-old Tina Davis had flooded the 19-year-old singer with messages, which is said to have angered Rihanna.
Davis and Brown were rumored to have had a sexual relationship when the R&B star was only 16, something both have denied.
However, the detective’s affidavit refers to the text message as being “from a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with.”
According to law enforcement sources, Davis’ message to Brown talked about hooking up later. After Rihanna read the text, she slapped and hit Brown. The fight then turned even more brutal as he allegedly beat Rihanna.
