News: Billy Idol's White Wedding Song Turned Literal

Billy Idol is an English rockmusician. He first achieved fame in the punk rock era as a member of the band Generation X. He then embarked on a successful solo career, aided by a series of stylish music videos, making him one of the first MTV stars.

White Wedding is a song by Billy Idol that appeared on his album Billy Idol. According to the VH1's Pop-up Video trivia show, Idol claims it was written to show his displeasure with his sister's fiancé. It is often considered his most successful song, although other Idol songs charted higher. It reached #36 on the Billboard Hot 100 on its original release, and reached #6 in the UK upon its release there in 1985.

News: Kendra Wilkinson Wishes The Best For Holly Madison

Illusionist Criss Angel and 29 year-old model Holly Madison split a few days ago. But that doesn't mean that Madison is alone.

According to People, Kendra Wilkinson -- who, like Holly, was a galpal of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner -- hopes she'll "find what she's looking for."

"[Holly] has so much love to give someone," the 23 year-old Wilkinson said. "I hope that she finds someone to give her that love back."

Wilkinson added that she wants her Girls Next Door costar to find a guy who "treats her well."

"I hope she stays happy and strong and I hope she finds someone that loves her for who she is - for her heart."

Bart Scott

News: Bart Scott To Agree With N.Y. Jets

According to The Sporting News, former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Bart Scott will join head coach Rex Ryan and play for the New York Jets. Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that the deal will pay Scott about $8 million a season. The Ravens offered Scott around $7 million to stay with Baltimore.
Playing his entire seven-year career in Baltimore, Scott shined in 2006 when he finished the season with 103 tackles, 9.5 sacks and 2 interceptions. Scott made the Pro Bowl team and was an All-Pro selection in '06.

Chris Kunitz

News: Ducks trade Chris Kunitz for Penguins' Ryan Whitney

Maligned for their lack of scoring depth, the Pittsburgh Penguins swung a trade for the present and the future on Thursday, dealing promising defenceman Ryan Whitney to Anaheim. In return, Pittsburgh receives scoring left-winger Chris Kunitz and prospect Eric Tangradi, a left-winger with the Ontario Hockey League's Belleville Bulls.

In an interview with CBCSports.ca, Ducks centre Todd Marchant expressed sadness in having to say goodbye to a good friend in Kunitz but also excitement as far as what the six-foot-four, 220-pound Whitney could bring to the team's back line. "He's a big defenceman, and we hope that he can come in and help us," Marchant said by phone from Boston. "We're in a playoff fight, and every point is going to be huge for us, so we're looking for him to play his game, and that'll take care of itself."

The NHL's trade deadline is March 4 at 3 p.m. ET.

The Penguins entered play Thursday in 10th spot in the NHL's Eastern Conference and out of a playoff spot with a 30-26-6 record. At 30-27-5, Anaheim is 10th in the West. Pittsburgh is fifth in the East with 186 goals scored, but 73 of those have come from three players: Evgeni Malkin, Petr Sykora and captain Sidney Crosby, who is currently nursing a groin injury.

Portuguese Water Dog

News: Obama family picks Portuguese water dog

A Portuguese water dog could be heading to the White House soon, Michelle Obama indicated to People magazine in an interview that will hit the shelves this Friday. According to Mrs. Obama, the first family is now actively seeking a rescue dog of this breed that is "old enough" and a proper "match." Senator Ted Kennedy, who himself owns two beloved Portuguese water dogs, seen frequently at his side, had unofficially lobbied the Obamas to adopt such a dog. It looks as if his efforts have succeeded in swaying the first family away from a Labradoodle and towards the breed that was once trained to herd fish into the nets of Portuguese fishermen. "Temperamentally they're supposed to be pretty good," Michelle Obama told People. "From the size perspective, they're sort of middle of the road – it's not small, but it's not a huge dog. And the folks that we know who own them have raved about them. So that's where we're leaning." She expressed surprise over the fact that the public is so interested in this matter. She also shared that her daughters Malia and Sasha have been struggling to come up with a fitting name for the proposed new D.C. dog.

Lake Jocassee

News: Divers Find Hotel 300 Ft. Deep In Lake Jocassee

Divers have discovered an intact hotel buried 300 ft. deep in, a manmade water body in upstate South Carolina. The hotel was part of a neighborhood washed away by the water nearly four decades ago.
The area now known as Lake Jocassee used to be a community called Jocassee Valley. In 1973, a dam being built by the Duke Power Community replaced the neighborhood with 300 ft. of water. The dam’s purpose was to stop the flow of four rivers in the area, but the side effect was the loss of the Jocassee Valley.One building, however, survived: a hotel called the Attakulla Lodge. The hotel’s owner fought the Lake Jocassee development and was able to keep the Duke Power Company from demolishing his structure. It was the only structure still intact when the water poured in back in 1973. Now, all these years later, divers have located the hotel 300 ft. deep in the lake–and the woman who grew up as a child there has been able to finally revisit her memories.

Lance Armstrong

Lance Armstrong is an American professional road racing cyclist who rides for UCI ProTeam Team Astana. He won the Tour de France a record-breaking seven consecutive years, from 1999 to 2005.
His bicycle has been lost few days ago but now its recovered by his campaign started at twitter and facebook. He alerted his 140,000 Twitter followers to the theft on Sunday, and four days later police in Sacremento, California took receipt of the Trek bicycle.
"They recovered the bike!" Armstrong said on Twitter . "Don't have details yet but it's apparently on it's way here. Thanks to the Sacramento P D for the help!"

Duffy

The lovely Welsh singer takes three awards home with her. It was Duffy's night at the BRIT Awards in London last night, with the Welsh singer winning in three categories which are Best Female, Best Album ('Rockferry') and Best British Breakthrough Act.
Close to tears accepting the awards, Duffy said: "I can't tell you what this means after five years, thank you so much." After the awards show, she said she had left the ceremony "happier than I could have imagined".
